Whether you are at a point where you just feel the need to change things up, or you may be moving into your first apartment or first home, there are a ton of things you can do to make your bathroom look and feel special, but here is a list of bathroom accessories and essentials from Amazon to help get you started.

Every home has one thing in common: they all have at least one bathroom. And just like every other room in your home, the bathroom needs to be functional. But for those of us that are passionate about aesthetics, we would also like our space to be beautiful.
Just this week, my son said, “How did your bathroom get so fancy?!” After chatting I realized that a few of my fave Amazon items for the bathroom — like the soap bottle wall mounts — make it feel a bit like a luxe hotel, and I’m not mad about it!
Some of the items in this list are going to feed your need for function and some of the items are just there to make the bathroom experience a little more luxe. I personally think it’s ok to want both.

Re-Fillable Bottles
Not only do these look really nice, but I like using these because they are a great way to split bulk-bought items (hand soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner) up so that they can be used in multiple rooms throughout the house.
Wall Mount Soap Dispenser Hooks
The bathroom is a high-traffic zone in our home, we have two, and while we have a decent amount of space in both, mounting some bathroom accessories on the wall is a great way to keep the counter space open.
Suction Cup Hooks for Shower
Just like the wall mounts for our soap, these hooks help keep things off the ground and give items like loofas, washcloths, or even toys a designated place to live so that other surfaces can be left open.
Natural Loofah Pad
This is definitely one of the more aesthetic or luxury items, a lot of people still use the ball like loofas which is totally fine, for me this is just a little upgrade from that. They are wonderful for your skin, they exfoliate and stimulate blood circulation, so while it looks pretty it also serves a functional purpose.
Magnetic Soap Holder
I’m sure you are starting to see a theme in a lot of the products that I love, I am definitely a major fan of products that get things off of the floor or countertops. And that is why I think these magnetic soap holders are amazing! They are a great space saver, and reusable and I like that because the soap is hanging it drips dry easily.
The holder comes with a magnetic spike that sticks into any bar of soap, just make sure to save that magnetic piece when it’s time to add a new soap bar!
Toilet Paper Holder w/ Shelf
When I discovered this item I was thrilled. I love it for our personal bathroom but I honestly think that this is a hostess’s dream. I love the idea that I can put items inside this little storage shelf that my guests may need (pads, tampons, poo-pourri, wipes, etc.) so that they have it accessible without having to ask.
Glass Canisters
If you’ve seen my pantry makeover, you will know that I am a big fan of glass canisters. Not only do they look nicer than cardboard boxes, but because they are glass you can easily see what’s inside. Plus, similar to the re-fillable jars if you buy items in bulk having canisters allow you to utilize those items in multiple places around your home.
2 in 1 Toilet Seat
This is the ideal item for the mommas and daddies out there, I love that it is built in so you don’t have an extra toilet seat or potty that you have to find a place to store. Plus, we love this option because it makes potty training fun, giving your little one the independence to use the “big potty” on their own.
Silicone Toilet Brush
A toilet brush is a bathroom necessity, I like this one because the design is clean and sleek. Plus, the silicone brush head, stays rust-free, is said to be more durable, and long-lasting than a normal brush head and because it is flexible it can better clean all of the corners of the toilet bowl.
Bamboo Fiber Soap Tray
If you are a bar soap lover you are going to want to get this tray or something similar. Having the bamboo layer allows the soap to drain quickly, and the soap dish prevents the soapy water from flowing out, effectively preventing the soap from becoming mushy.
