If you are anything like our family, you are already starting to look forward to the holiday season. Christmas Diffuser Blends are a mark of the holiday for us. So, I’m starting to stock up on some of our favorite essential oil scents.
I know I can always find a premade essential oil blend from my favorite essential oil company. I use Spark Naturals because they are 100% pure, therapeutic grade, made in the USA, and all at a great price.
Spark Naturals is also my go-to to stock up on the individual essential oils we will frequently use in blends all season long. So, keep reading for our family favorite Christmas Diffuser Blends we think you will enjoy them so much that you’ll use them all winter long.

Our Favorite Pre-Made Christmas Diffuser Blends
There is nothing easier to use as Christmas Diffuser Blends than premade essential oil blends. Without any premixing, I can grab these oh-so-delightful scents and go. The following are a few of our favorite Christmas Diffuser Blends I think you’ll love all year long.
The Gift
This Christmas blend symbolizes the three gifts to baby Jesus—Frankincense, Myrrh, and Wild Orange (AKA Gold). This classic holiday diffuser blend is deep, smoky, and reminiscent of ancient spices.
The scent is spiritually uplifting and stimulating.
In full disclosure, a couple of my littles don’t like this strong scent, but it’s a personal favorite.
Shield
Shield is a popular essential oil blend I think your entire family will love. The Clove, Cinnamon Bark, Lemon, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary make this one of the most beloved Christmas Diffuser Blends, but the health benefits are also amazing.
You may also know this combination as the ‘robbers’ or ‘thieves’ blend. Check out my thieves oil post if you would like to know about the legend, the benefits, and how to make your own DIY thieves blend.
We use Shield essential oil blend in our diffuser all winter long to fight infections and for boosting our immune system.
Relief
We love this blend from Spark Naturals as one of our Christmas Diffuser Blends. But, I hate to admit that the holidays can be stressful at times. This blend of Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Melaleuca, Rosemary, Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Helichrysum, and Vetiver really takes the edge off.
Relief is specifically designed to calm the discomfort and tension that come with headaches. Diffuse a few drops of this blend at the first signs of a headache.
Focus
Focus blend has become one of our favorite Christmas Diffuser Blends. Well, honestly, we use it from fall all through winter.
The blend of Rosemary, Lime, Sweet Marjoram, Spruce, Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Rosewood, Vanilla, Frankincense, Ylang Ylang, Sandalwood, Laboy Chamomile, Vetiver, and Patchouli help you to be calm and focused. Many of these scents are what we think of as traditional holiday smells.
I like to put a few drops of Focus in a diffuser to help wake up the littles for school, and also during homework sessions in the afternoon.
Christmas Diffuser Blends You Can Make
Although I love the convenience of the premade Christmas Diffuser Blends, I also enjoy the freedom of creating my own diffuser blends at home. I’ve been experimenting with essential oils for years and have quite the arsenal in my natural medicine cabinet.
Having individual oils allows me the freedom to not only use them for specific benefits but also to combine them into fun and new scents.
Winter Spice Diffuser Blend
Bergamot is the star of this diffuser blend. The bright, uplifting citrus smell may help relieve stress, anxiety, and depression.
Overall, the Winter Spice essential oil blend is known for its crisp scent and relaxing effect. I like diffusing this Christmas essential oil blend after cooking diner to clean and freshen the air.

Gingerbread House Diffuser Blend
Gingerbread is one of the delicious scents of the holidays. It’s sweet, spicy, and yumm-o.
The Gingerbread House diffuser blend is great for making the house smell merry. I use festive Christmas Diffuser Blends like this one when we are hosting guests.

- 3 drops ginger essential oil
- 2 drops cinnamon essential oil
- 2 drops clove essential oil
- 1 drop nutmeg essential oil (optional)
Christmas Tree
We love our fake Christmas trees. They last us years, meaning a huge saving over time, plus they come in every shape, size, and color, and we have them in every room of our house.
The only downside of having a fake tree for me is the lack of natural smell. So, I love using strong tree essential oils to fill our home with fresh forest scents.
This is one of the Christmas Diffuser Blends I’ll use while we are decorating the trees, opening gifts, or simply hanging around the tree in the evening.
