2) What To Include In A Snack Basket for Your Delivery Person
You’ll want to include two basics in a snack basket, something to snack on and something to wash it down with!
Water is a top choice (but energy drinks and electrolyte drinks are top choices as well) – You can get inexpensive cases of water or find deals on cases that include other beverage flavors. It may seem like a small thing, but staying hydrated while working can make a huge difference.
Granola Bars/Energy Bars – Energy bars and granola bars are filling without being heavy, which is helpful for delivery drivers who might not have time to stop for lunch during busy hours.
Snack Basket Ideas
- Start with simple individual-size pre-packaged snacks:

3) What Not To Include In Your Delivery Driver Snack Basket
Chocolates, hard candies, gumballs. Instead, keep it healthier! Plus, you’ll want to think about the weather as well. Where we live, chocolates can easily melt and become an unappealing mess. Where the weather is cold or freezing, items like gumballs become extra-hard. Also, chocolates/candies are often low in nutritional value and high in sugar; if you like to keep it sweet, opt for fruit instead!
4) How To Display a Snack Basket

This has become such a FUN tradition for us each year and my kids get so excited to help put it all together. This year, Aria even pulled a chair out to the front yard to wait for delivery trucks to come by so she could make sure they knew there was something special for them. They seriously LOVE it. And what’s even better is seeing a delivery person taking a snack with them, knowing it was something they needed in that moment.
